Description
Managerial competence is not achieved solely through the acquisition of professional knowledge and information, but rather it requires the comprehensive development of individuals in the dimensions of skills, personality, and changes in the manager’s attitude and behavior. Competent managers are managers who present a desirable behavioral model and achieve effective standards in their performance.
With the help of the Internet and search engines, it is easy to examine valid and useful competency models and obtain valuable information. However, one thing that I have realized over the years of experience working with successful Iranian managers is that most of these managers have a great affinity with Persian culture and literature, and this, in addition to strengthening a manager’s vocabulary and strengthening the cerebral hemispheres, has also strengthened their managerial competencies. Therefore, we decided to use this rich treasure trove of Persian poetry and literature to introduce examples and dimensions of competencies.
In this book, after a brief introduction to the dimensions of competency, poems related to each competency that is raised are announced.
